BOBOVR Guide
So lädst du deine Ray-Ban Meta und Oakley Meta Smart Glasses
A practical charging guide for Meta smart glasses, including desk, travel, and on-the-go charging options with the BOBOVR CG2.
How the stock charging works
Your Ray-Ban Meta or Oakley Meta glasses recharge inside their included case, and you recharge the case over USB-C. That is enough for daily use - but the case has to be charged itself, and it is not always the most convenient option at a desk or on a trip.
When you would want a dedicated charger
- At your desk: a magnetic dock that starts charging the moment you set the glasses down.
- On the go: a small snap-on battery for a top-up when you are away from a plug.
- Travelling: a protective case that also charges, with a USB-C port you can reach without unpacking.
The BOBOVR CG2 - a 3-in-1 charger for Meta glasses
The CG2 combines all three in one modular system:
- A magnetic desktop dock that charges automatically when you place the glasses on it.
- A snap-on battery clip - 350mAh, about 19g - that adds roughly 1 to 1.3 extra charges when you are out.
- A travel case with USB-C port access and LED status indicators.
Fast charging takes the glasses from 0-80% in about 55 minutes.
Which glasses does the CG2 fit?
- Ray-Ban Meta: Wayfarer, Headliner, Skyler (Gen 1 & Gen 2)
- Oakley Meta: HSTN
