BOBOVR F3 Facial Interface - For Quest 3

Overall I'd rate this 5 stars in execution, but 4 stars in that it might need a little tweaking, though that's at the lowest. Very happy with this product. Over the course of time I have noticed a few things about this face plate while using it: Pros: 1.) It retains heat only slightly more than the base provided one sold with the Quest 3 (Regular, not the 3S) 2.) The basic one provided by Meta caused a lot of itching, irritation of the skin, and retained a lot of oils and sweat while with the one BOBOVR sells I have not experienced these issues, or at the very least it has not been noticeable. 3.) The Facial Interface provided was easy to install, and comes with additional replacement padding to replace the old one. Though I do not know if this material happens to be machine washable, if hand washed, you could potentially use the other while the initial one dries. 4.) This material has enough firmness to pad the face and create distance from the lenses, while having enough give to shape around the face under use making it comfortable, though not neccessarily breathable. 5.) The little mesh skirt around the nose area doubles as both a reductive measure to reduce fogging of the lenses in the headset, and a shade against excess light filtering in through that point, the material does not irritate the skin, and makes it slightly easier to breath. 6.) I haven't noticed it retaining an odd scent like the old face plate had. Cons: 1.) The padding while comfortable is not as breathable, which means you may sweat a little more, though I haven't found myself sweating much while using it, which I think is due to the slits at points in the padding. The Slits don't seem to really allow much light through. 2.) The material itself applies a little more weight than the base pad's material making it bare down the the nose more, there's not as much friction which makes the headset sliding down over time more common. 3.) This may be more of a placebo type effect, but I believe I've noticed the VR headset builds heat more rapidly with this face plate, though I have no evidence to show to state for or against this observation. 4.) I noticed it took slightly more effort to attach this face plate than the base one, it was just as simple of a design to attach it, just be aware of where you're placing your fingers when affixing it to the slots. 5.) The material does get in the way of the top gap while installing this hardware, check clearance to make sure you're ready to snap in.
