EGO Capture

Multi-camera egocentric headset for robot learning.

Two, four or six hardware-synced global-shutter cameras, arranged across the front and sides, capture human demonstrations alongside a six-axis IMU. Everything records on-device, and the rear battery hot-swaps without interrupting capture.

01 · Coverage

Beyond the forward view.

Hands rarely stay straight ahead. The front camera pair covers the primary workspace; four- and six-camera configurations extend coverage to the sides, capturing reaches into the parts bins, carts and equipment beside the operator.

02 · Recording

Multi-view, hardware-synchronized capture.

Every camera has a global shutter and is hardware-synced. A six-axis IMU logs head motion, and everything is captured directly on the headset.

Trigger recording with the onboard button, or over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Video and IMU data are written to a microSD card on the headset, then offloaded over USB 3.0, over Wi-Fi or with a card reader. Fully untethered: no PC pack or phone required.

03 · Power

Hot-swap the battery. Keep recording.

Take the BM60 off the back of the head and seat a charged one; the recording carries on. BM60 is the battery BOBOVR already ships with its VR head straps.

04 · Fit

Built to stay comfortable through long sessions.

A cushioned PU leather pad rests on the forehead, while an active fan vents heat across the crown. The eyes and face remain completely unobstructed.

Common questions

What are the camera specifications?

All cameras use global shutters. Resolution, frame rate and field of view depend on the task and lighting, so we work through them with each team.

How long does the battery last?

Single-pack runtime depends on the active camera count and recording settings. Because the BM60 swaps without stopping the recording, a session isn't limited to one charge; we help you size spare batteries and charging docks around your shift schedule.

Does the two-camera configuration provide stereo depth?

Two, four and six describe the physical cameras and how they are arranged. Whether a project gets stereo depth depends on camera overlap, baseline, synchronization, calibration and the algorithms in your pipeline.

Can it be worn with glasses or other PPE?

The open-face design leaves the eyes and face completely unobstructed. We verify clearance with your specific glasses or PPE during project onboarding.
