I am writing this to be the antithesis to the 1 star reviews talking about the bad batteries. I had the left controller not work (blinking yellow light when charging). I Emailed them and they got back to me within 1 business day asking some follow up questions to make sure what I was seeing was a faulty battery. They sent me the replacement free of charge and actually sent me a replacement for both the left AND the right! Also the charger is nice and the grips are great for games like Beat Saber!

Works as described, but what would better if the magnets were either stronger or built into the silicone covers as the covers reduce the magnets strength by a great deal. I design and 3d printed holder for the ikea skadis board but had to support the controllers because of the magnet strength.

From no grip to this... Like I think there Is no better grip If you want hands free like this on budget, like index once. And the charging doc, with this my bateries even last longer then the normal AA I used. HUGE improvemant.

Although the initial left battery lost connection, support quickly sent me a replacement and it works perfect. I upgraded from the Aubika rechargeable grips, and the CD3 is far superior. My Beat Saber scores have been shooting up the score card :D

One of the two batteries doesn't even work, sent a return request to try and get someone to contact me and it got shot down, and was told to email them etc etc, and now I have to wait even longer since there's literally zero support.
My recommendation is skip this, I found another brand on amazon that is half the price and I can plug it in directly to charge. These don't even have charging ports, so If I travel with it, i have to take the base station too which is stupid.

One of the worst products every created because said product has never arrived. Purchased on June 27, it is now July 20 and there is NO indication that I will receive the CD3 Controller Charging Combo before August. No backorder, no delayed shipment, no notification that the product will be shipped at any point. I have absolutely nothing. I don't even have proof that BOBOVR has even shipped the package. I have emailed the company twice and both times they said "just wait longer". Why they would ask for a review of a product that they themselves have not yet shipped to me is beyond all understanding. But here you go. A 1-star review for a product that has not shipped in 23 days and that they won't even attempt to ship for another 12 days.

The charging pad works great. The straps are okay but comparing to my old straps, these make the controllers sit in a slightly different spot in my hand and it feels odd. But these straps are not required and I can put my old ones on no problem and enjoy the best of both worlds. Its great to just pick up my controllers and have them be fully charged instead of getting battery low pop up on my face. I would recommend this charger

Charge pretty quick too depending on charger used.
