B2-Power Supply

How To Use

We recommend that you use the fulled B2 to power the quest2 when the quest2 battery is at 80% so that you can get the most out of your game time.

When the power of quest2 itself is still 80%, you can use the battery pack to power quest2. It will consume the power of the battery pack first, followed by the power of quest2 itself, so when the power of quest2 itself is enough. Just use the battery pack to power it and you can get the longest gaming time.

You should insert the USB plug first, and then magnetically attract B2.

Unable To Supply Power

The same troubleshooting methodology applies to quest3.

Several possibilities for not being able to supply power to quest2:
  1. A long time after the power of the quest is lower than 1%, the power is very low. When charging starts, the current is low. When the current is still low for 40 seconds, B2 will automatically sleep. If you encounter this situation, please use the quest official charger to charge to 1% first, and then use B2.
  2. The power of the quest reaches 100%. At this time, if the power consumption of the quest in sleep mode is relatively low, B2 may also enter the sleep mode due to low current.
  3. If the B2 automatically sleeps, it can be woken up by pressing the button, or it can be automatically woken up after 1 second of magnetic attraction after it is removed from the headstrap. If it is removed after automatic sleep, it will not automatically wake up when it is magnetically attached immediately.
  4. A USB plug is inserted into the USB of B2, causing B2 to recognize it as charging mode and not supply power to the outside.
  5. The contacts on the headstrap or B2 battery are dirty.
  6. The USB plug of headstrap is not inserted into the quest, you should insert the USB plug first, and then magnetically attract B2.
  7. The magnetic USB plug is inserted into the USB interface of B2, which causes B2 not to supply power to the outside.

If it is not the case above, please follow the picture below:
Step 1: Use the cable we provided to connect to the socket of B2(not the headstrap's cable)
Step 2: Please connect the other end of the cable to the socket of quest2
Step 3: Observe the charging indicator of quest2

If the charging indicator light on Quest 2 is orange, it indicates a fault with the headstrap connection cable. Please provide the following information:
  1. Order invoice containing the order number and product information.
  2. Operational photos.
  3. Your recipient name, shipping address, postal code, and phone number.

Why did quest2's power go down?

The power supply speed of B2 is slightly lower than the power consumption rate of Quest 2 when playing some high-power games, which results in the battery level of Quest 2 still decreasing. However, please don't worry because the power drain is relatively slow. Different games have varying demands and optimizations for performance, leading to different power consumption rates while running. Additionally, when the B2 battery is depleted and it is supplying power to Quest 2, it will store some power in Quest 2. You can also check the total duration of their combined usage.

Reduced Battery Life

Battery life of B2:
  1. The battery life of B2 may vary depending on different devices.
  2. The battery life of B2 may also vary depending on different usage scenarios of the same device.
  3. In terms of using B2 with Quest 2 when its own battery is fully charged, our B2 battery can provide twice the battery life compared to Quest 2 alone.
Detailed explanation and calculation formulas:
  1. "mAh" is the unit of battery capacity, which stands for milliampere-hour (when measuring large-capacity batteries like lead-acid batteries, "Ah" is commonly used for convenience, which stands for ampere-hour). 1 milliampere (mA) = 0.001 ampere (A) * 3600 seconds = 3.6 ampere-seconds = 3.6 coulombs.
  2. The power calculation formula is P = U * I. The unit of power (P) is watt (W). In a purely resistive circuit, using Ohm's law, substituting U = IR into P = UI, we get p =l*IR =(u*u)/r.
  3. To understand battery life, it is necessary to first obtain the current of the electrical device.
  4. Available time = Battery rated capacity / Current of the electrical device.
For example:
A 3000mAh battery with a rated voltage of 5V is supplying power to a device that consumes 2.5W and operates at 5V. The theoretical usage time is calculated as follows: I = P/U = 2.5W / 5V = 0.5A = 500mA The battery has a capacity of 3000mAh, which means it can discharge at a current of 3000mA for one hour. 3000mAh divided by 500mA gives us 6 hours of usage time.

If there is a significant decrease in battery life, please provide the following information:
  1. Describe the issue or problem phenomenon.
  2. Provide product photos.
  3. Include the order number and product information from the order invoice.
  4. Provide your recipient's name, shipping address, postal code, and phone number.

Why Three Beeps

This is the low battery reminder function. It reminds you that the battery is below 5%.

However, if powered by B2 through the USB-C port, the USB port output will only power off and restart without any prompt sound.
