With Official Charging Dock
We will only know the exact answer after receiving the meta charging dock test, but we have tested the Quest pro charging dock and it is compatible with our battery system I think the high probability answer is YES.

No, it won't charge the battery. Please don't charge like that.

You do not need to remove the cable, the Q3 will charge normally.
But B2 please don't attach to it. B2 needs to be charged separately.
